The air conditioning struggles to keep up. In one room, it didn't work at all, and the replacements came with a hard bed and a dodgy balcony. The shower grab handle was loose and rusty, and the elevators felt ancient, adding to the sense of decay. Noise insulation is practically nonexistent.
